This informative course covers the broader field of integral Yoga and integral Ayurveda. It shows you how to teach mantra and meditation from the standpoint of both Yoga and Ayurveda. The course contains a complete and original translation from the Sanskrit, commentary and study of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali from an Ayurvedic perspective by Dr. Frawley, showing the implications of traditional Yoga for healing both body and mind, relative to all eight limbs of Yoga, as rooted in meditation. It introduces Ayurvedic Yoga and its Vedic equivalents (Vedic Yoga). It brings in the perspective of Tantra for understanding the energetics of the subtle body and Kundalini Yoga. The course comes in five on-line sections and around forty lessons, over eight hundred pages of course material. No purchase of published books is required for taking the course as occurred in the past, but we do indicate several books, mainly of Dr. Frawley, as part of the bibliography. The course includes illustrations, numerous audios, and several videos to enhance the course experience. The course is a self-study course and allows the student to go at his or her own pace. There is a three-year time limit for completing the course or a reinstatement fee may be required.

The course is authored by Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri), noted teacher (acharya) of Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedic Studies. He has written extensively on Yoga and Ayurveda, Tantric Yoga, Vedic Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Vedanta and Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Yoga and Vedic astrology, and the history of the Yoga tradition based upon his extensive study in original Sanskrit texts going back to the Vedas. His book Yoga and Ayurveda: Self-Healing and Self-realization have been the most widely used book on Yoga and Ayurveda in the world for more than twenty years. Dr. Frawley is one of the most honored Yoga and Ayurveda teachers in India with a special D.Litt from S-VYASA and a Padma Bhushan from the president of India.
